Mass for the Anointing of the sick, aged and infirmed – Saturday, September 22 – 11AM
The annual Mass of Anointing is for any parishioner who is burdened by illness or the aging process, and those
preparing for surgery. A light reception will follow in Msgr. Nolan Hall. Mark your calendars and join us in prayer that day.
Blessing of Animals on St. Francis’ Day– October 4th at 4 PM
The annual blessing of our parish pets will take place on Thursday, October 4th at 4:00 PM in front of the main entrance to the church. Honoring Saint Francis who loved all God’s creation, pet owners are invited to bring their precious cats and dogs, birds and guinea pigs and everyone else for this special blessing.

We invite everyone who would like to explore our Catholic Faith more deeply to come and reflect on the Lord’s Prayer
throughout this coming year. The first of the four sessions— “The Lord’s Prayer: The Summary of the Gospel takes place Tuesday, October 9 at 7:30 PM. Save the dates for future sessions on Jan 29, Feb 26 and May 14 – all Tuesdays at 7:30 PM.

Join us on Saturday mornings from 9:30-10:30 in Our Lady’s Meeting Room or the Auditorium as we spend time with the readings that will be proclaimed at Mass on Saturday evening and Sunday. Through prayer and fellowship, we hope to have the Scriptures come more alive.
Diocesan Pilgrimage to the National Shrine – October 27
The Diocesan Pilgrimage to the National Shrine will take place Saturday, October 27th. Please call Fr. Chris (718-465-8534) to make your reservation to join the pilgrimage to our nation’s capital and the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The cost for a seat on this day-long pilgrimage is $52. Buses will depart from Queens tentatively at 6AM and will return around 10PM. Both Father O’Connor and Father Chris will be on this special Diocesan Pilgrimage. Join with Catholics from Brooklyn & Queens as we honor Our Lady.
